We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”.

We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Our Sacred Teaching for March is “Truth”

This is Week 1 Today is Tuesday, March 19th.

Attention all flag football players.  Tryouts for the male and male identifying team will be as follows: 
Tuesday, March 26 for grade 6s,
Wednesday, March 27, for grade 7s and
Thursday, March 29, for grade 8s.
The final tryout will be held Tuesday, April 2 for those who get called back for the three grade level tryouts.  All tryouts are from 3pm - 4:20pm.

The Dessert Theatre rehearsal schedule is on the bulletin board outside of the Learning Centre. Please take a look.

There will be a Dessert Theatre rehearsal today afterschool for Madison, Lissie, Cabrini, and everyone in You Learn from 2:45-4:00. Tomorrow, everyone involved in Push will rehearse from 2:45-4pm. Bring your ukeleles. Please plan your drives accordingly.

The GSA meets today with first lunch GSA in room 146 (Ms. Little's room) and second lunch GSA in room 208 (Mr. Holley’s room). New members are always welcome!

Reminder to all badminton team players that there will be a practice today and tomorrow after school until 4:15pm. Please come see Mme. Morrissey if you are unable to attend.

Congratulations to Cole Rhynold class 7-6, he will be representing Team Nova Scotia in the Canadian Championship in Rimouski Quebec for Speedskating this coming Easter weekend. We wish Cole the best of luck as he prepares for Nationals!
