We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”.

We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Our Sacred Teaching for today is Love:
Love is a force that is undeniable. With love all things are possible. It is everyone’s right to have and experience it.

This is Week 2 Today is Wednesday, March 6th.

There is badminton today after school until 4:15pm.

There is also a leadership meeting TODAY in the Family Studies room.  We are hoping everyone is able to attend.

Attention all flag football players.  The sign up for the SHJH flag football teams are live on our athletics webpage.  If interested, sign up before March Break and listen to announcements as tryouts will take place after March break.

There will be an open gym for members of the boys basketball team Thursday, after school, from 2:45-4:15.

This is the last week of TFA rotations before we switch after March break.  Any students who need extra time to complete their Family Studies sewing projects are encouraged to pop up for extra help this week.
First lunch extra help will be Thursday and Friday.  Second lunch extra help will be today.
