We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”.

We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Our Sacred Teaching for today is Wisdom:

It is Week 2. Today is Monday, December 18th.

Monday Morning Mindfulness will be held this morning.This is an opportunity to learn some mindfulness practices to help ease into the week. If you’re interested, please speak with your teacher and then join us in the library immediately following these morning announcements.

The SHJH Pickleball club will take place tomorrow after school from 2:50 until 4:15. Make sure you have proper footwear if you want to participate. Reminder that it is open to anyone so if you have not come out before you are still welcome to play!
