We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”.

We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Our Sacred Teaching for today is on Love and comes from a Ojibwa prayer:
“Teach us love, compassion, and honour that we may heal the earth and heal each other.”

Today is Tuesday, January 10

Week 2 art clubs are today during first and second lunch in the portable. Bring your pencils and other supplies that you want to use.

Boys basketball game today at 3:30 at HTB.
No student spectators will be allowed for this game.

There will be a full cast musical rehearsal for Aladdin after school on Wednesday in the cafeteria.

Reminder to students that you cannot have pop, caffeinated, or energy drinks in class. Water is the best source of hydration!
