We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”.

We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Our Sacred Teaching for today is on Love and comes from a Ojibwa prayer:
“Teach us love, compassion, and honor that we may heal the earth and heal each other.”

There will be a mandatory Aladdin Junior FULL CAST rehearsal today in the cafeteria right after school. We will not need backstage crew for today.

Congratulations to the boys basketball team who defeated HTB yesterday by the score of 79-38. The team played great and the referee complimented on how well they played as a team and got all players involved.
