We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”.

We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Monday Morning Mindfulness will be held this morning in the library. If you’re interested, please speak with your teacher and then join us in the library immediately following these morning announcements.

There will be a full cast rehearsal for the Dessert Theatre today in the cafeteria. We will end at 4:15pm. Please plan your drives accordingly.

There will be extra help today on first lunch for any grade 7 Family Studies students who would like extra time to work on their sewing projects. 
There are only 2 more weeks before we rotate our TFA classes again.  So students need to get their projects finished before March break.

Badminton team tryouts on Wednesday after school until 4:15pm.

There will be a Chess Tournament tomorrow from 9:00 - 10:30 in the cafeteria. Those students who signed up are asked to get teacher’s permission in order to attend. The 5 rounds are posted outside Mr. Hobbs room so feel free to see who you are playing either before or after school!
