We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”.

We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Our Sacred Teaching for today is Love:
Love is a force that is undeniable. With love all things are possible. It is everyone’s right to have and experience it.

This is Week 2 Today is Friday, February 23rd.

There were quite a few items left at the ski hill yesterday. Two pairs of black gloves were left on the table where Ms. MacNeil and Mrs. Mercer were sitting so if you own either of those pairs of gloves, see Mrs. Mercer today. A student also gave Mrs. Mercer their hat before they went skiing yesterday and she has that but she has no idea who belongs to so if you gave her a hat before you went skiing please see her today so it can be returned, and finally, a black baclava was left in the restaurant and a there was a  pair of black gloves were found in the room where all your bags were left. If you own any of the above items, see Mrs. Mercer today.

Art club is cancelled for today for second lunch due to a scheduling conflict. First lunch art club will be in the library as usual.

Badminton tryouts will be Wednesday February 28th afterschool until 4:15pm. This will be the only tryout.
