We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”.

We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Our Sacred Teaching for today is Humility:
In life we need to understand humility. Humility is the factor, which allows us to ask humbly for guidance.

This is Week 2 Today is Tuesday, January 23rd.

Tomorrow is bell Lets talk day!!!  This morning we’re sharing with you an action we can all take to help create positive change. Take care of your own mental health:
listen to your mind and body;
ask for help and take some time if you are struggling or feeling overwhelmed.
You might take a walk, reach out to a friend, or talk to a teacher.
Remember it’s okay to not be okay. 

Ms. Fisher and Mr. DeMone will be stationed in the front lobby from 8:30am - 8:45am each day this week to collect ski trip forms.  This will be the last week for you to hand in forms.  For those who didn't receive forms, you can also pick one up during this time.

There will be a boys basketball practice afterschool from 2:45-4:15.
