We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”.

We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Our Sacred Teaching for today is Humility:
In life we need to understand humility. Humility is the factor, which allows us to ask humbly for guidance.

A reminder that the SHJH Pickleball club will meet Thursday, Jan 4 after school from 2:50 - 4:15. It is open to anyone so if you have not come out before you are still welcome to show up and play! Remember you do need proper footwear to participate.
 

Girls basketball practice afterschool today at 2:45 and Boys practice at 4:15. Also a reminder for players please return forms ASAP.

There are a few lost things still in the library: a green lanyard that has the name Ethan Murray taped to it; a key coloured like camouflage; a silver hoop earring; a charm bracelet with some charms and a heart shaped pendant. If any of these are yours please drop by the library to claim them.
Attention all Term 1 art students: If you still have artwork in Mr. Hobbs’ room, can you please get it this week!
