We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”.

We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Monday Morning Mindfulness will be held this morning.This is an opportunity to learn some mindfulness practices to help ease into the week. If you’re interested, please speak with your teacher and then join us in the library immediately following these morning announcements.
We are thrilled to announce the launch of the SHJH Pickleball Club.  If interested, please use the online link found on our athletics webpage.  Our first meeting will be tomorrow Tuesday, Nov 28 from 2:50 - 4:15.  If you have any questions or want more information, feel free to reach out to Mr. Williams or Mr. DeMone.  Get ready to smash, volley, and have a great time at the SHJH Pickleball Club!

The first female/female identifying basketball tryout will be on Wednesday, November 28 from 3:00-4:15.  Please be sure you have signed up on the school website before that time.  If you have any questions please see Ms.MacNeil.

Today afterschool, the female volleyball team will be battling AJ Smeltzer in the semi-finals, right here in our own gym for the right to go on to the finals on Wednesday! Wish them luck when you see them in the halls and come out to cheer them on if you can!
There will be no Drama Club today. I repeat: there is no Drama Club today after school.

Ms.Parsons and Staff would like to thank the students who attended the HeadStong summit, last Wednesday. You will see this group of students around your school promoting Mental Wellness.
