Please stand for the playing of “Lift Every Voice and Sing”. This piece is known as the black national anthem and will be played the entire month of February.

We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”.

We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Today is Wednesday February 15th, 2023

There will be a full cast rehearsal for Aladdin today in the cafeteria.

Congratulations to the boys basketball team who earned their 10th win yesterday. The Falcons were led by the stellar play of Kaden Sheikh and Owen Downey. Practice Thursday afterschool .
Semi Final game next Tuesday at the Heights.

There will be a D and D club meeting today during first lunch in room 222 - the Family Studies room.

Mrs Mercer is not in the building today so there will NOT be a meeting after school for those students who are helping with costumes for Aladdin.  We will meet next week.
