We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”.

We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Today is Thursday, December 15

There will be a pre-holiday celebration for the Fruit Basket crew during second lunch today in room 152. See you there!

The grade 8 leadership students have arranged a mini Holiday theme week.  We will start tomorrow with RED and GREEN DAY, next Monday will be UGLY SWEATER DAY and Tuesday will be HOLIDAY THEME (wear anything holiday related, Christmas PJ’s, Santa hats, reindeer antlers etc.)

Don’t forget that tomorrow is our last day to raise money for the food bank in our community.  We are so proud of how generous staff and students have been this year.  We are so close to reaching 2000 today.
Rankings as of yesterday after school were
62 Baird is still in the lead in grade 6 with 151 dollars
75 Slade and 77 Dillman are ahead in grade 7 and are only separated by ONE DOLLAR!
And finally in grade 8 in the lead with 353 dollars is 88 Bernier.

We hope to see everyone out tonight for our last dance of 2022!  Doors open at 6:30.  Dance goes until 8:30.  There will be a canteen set up in the cafeteria. 

All on-stage actors from Aladdin must pick up a letter to go home that has the schedule written for after Christmas and some very important dates. Please find Ms. Legge throughout the day or at lunch to get yours.

Could all Aladdin backstage crew please meet in Ms. Cochrane’s room- room 103 at the beginning of first lunch today. This will be a 10 minute meeting. No actors are required.

Attention all Pop choir students. There will be a rehearsal today from 3 to 4 in the music room
