We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”.

We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Today is Wednesday, December 14

There will be a pre-holiday celebration for the Fruity Loops today during first lunch in room 151. See you there!

The grade 8 leadership students have arranged a mini Holiday theme week.  We will start on Friday with RED and GREEN DAY, next Monday will be UGLY SWEATER DAY and Tuesday will be HOLIDAY THEME (wear anything holiday related, Christmas PJ’s, Santa hats, reindeer antlers etc.)

Reminder of the dance tomorrow night 6:30-8:30!! $8 admission at the door.

The boys basketball team pulled out their first win yesterday at the Kingfisher tournament. The falcons were led by Shane Lucas’ 25 points and by Game Star Kaden Sheikh.

We are on our final 3 days of fundraising for the Giving Tree.  We will tally the amounts on Friday after school and announce the winners on Monday morning.  The class that wins will receive their prize on Tuesday afternoon.
