We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”.

We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Our Sacred Teaching for today is Humility:
In life we need to understand humility. Humility is the factor, which allows us to ask humbly for guidance.

Are you ready to dance your heart out? Join the Dance Club experience every Thursday from 2:50pm to 4:00pm. Get ready for a dance journey led by our talented student dancers, supervised by the amazing Mme O'Ball and Ms. Thompson. Sign-up outside the learning center and across from Ms Thompson’s room, room 152. First practice will be next Thursday, January 18th in the cafeteria. Please make sure to bring clothes and shoes that you can move around in. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just starting out, Dance Club is the place to be!

Congrats to the boys basketball team who beat a confident HTB team yesterday 43-37.
Next game is  at home versus GP Vanier on Thursday.

Pop choir is accepting new members for the next 2 weeks. If you would like to come try it out, please show up to one of our next 2 rehearsals. There is no sign up sheet anywhere around the school.
