If you are interested in being part of our Library Crew Team, there will be forms in the library today.  If you’re  a team player, enjoy helping people, and are a great organizer, this is a great club to be part of!

There will student picture retakes on Oct. 22.

Picture order forms are due today to the main  office and after that date, students are required to mail the orders on their own.

Our first dance of the year is tonight!  The dance is from 6:30 - 8:30.  The cost is $7.  Students are reminded that bags, coats & other items should NOT be stored in the cafeteria.  There is a coat check in room 103 that will be locked during the dance.  All extra belongings are to be stored in there.  The theme for our dance is Falcon Spirit!!  It is a welcome back to the Heights theme!  Lots of school spirit and red and white.

In the library today there will be board game stations set-up for students to play, during both lunches.  There will be Jenga, Lexigo, and five different card games. There will be game instructions provided at the stations.  Our Library Monitor will also be here to help.
 
Dear Grade 6 and 8 Band Students, the sign-up sheet for morning band is on the Band room (the one in the little hallways).  Rehearsals will start next Friday!!  Please sign-up early so Mrs. Oxford can get the music ready to hand out:)

There will be a VERY VERY important meeting next Tuesday during second lunch for ANY students who were involved in Me to We last year.  It is very important that all students attend. If your lunch is regularly during first lunch you must have permission from your teacher to attend the meeting and you must bring a note from your teacher giving you permission to be there.  Again this if for any students who worked on any of the Me to We projects last year.  The meeting will be in room 222 - the Family Studies room.
 
All those who had signed up for archery are asked to pick up a permission form in order to participate in this year’s program.  Forms can be picked up from the Phys. Ed office.  There are limited spots and entry into the club will be based on those who return their permission form first.

Congrats to the boys soccer team with a 5 to 2 win over Leslie Thomas yesterday.  The next game is at SHJH on Monday against HTB
