We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”.

We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Our Sacred Teaching for today is on Love and comes from a Ojibwa prayer:
“Teach us love, compassion, and honor that we may heal the earth and heal each other.”

Today is Monday, January 30th.

The Mindful Monday Mornings group will meet after announcements in the library.

If you met with Ms. Page and Ms. Parsons on Friday and want to join the boys youth group, please bring your permission slip to the schools plus room last period today at 1:40.

Art club will meet tomorrow (Tuesday) during first and second lunch in the portable. Students who would normally attend art club on Week 2 are welcome to attend this week as well.

There will be a leadership meeting today on second lunch.  Please bring your lunch so we can start the meeting on time.

The boys basketball team play after school Tuesday here against Bedford Academy. There will be an early morning practice Wednesday morning.
