We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”.

We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Our Sacred Teaching for today is on Love and comes from a Ojibwa prayer:
“Teach us love, compassion, and honor that we may heal the earth and heal each other.”

Today is Bell Let’s Talk Day!!!!!   This morning we’re sharing with you an action we can all take to help create positive change. Take care of your own mental health: listen to your mind and body; ask for help and take some time if you are struggling or feeling overwhelmed. You might take a walk, reach out to a friend, or talk to a teacher. Remember it’s okay to not be okay!! Take some time today to read the positive messages in the talk bubbles around the school and remember… You are not alone!

There will be a meeting today after school from 2:45 until 4:30 for the students who signed up to help with costumes for the drama production Aladdin.  You should have received an email from Mrs Mercer in your gnspes email on Monday.  Please make sure your drive is arranged for 4:30.

There will be a D and D club meeting today in ms. Mercers room, room 222 during first lunch
