We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”.

We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Our Sacred Teaching for today is on Love and comes from an Ojibwa prayer:
“Teach us love, compassion, and honor that we may heal the earth and heal each other.”

Today is Thursday, January 12

The upstairs fountain (by Ms. Target’s room) is now working. Students are to use the fountain closest to the classroom they are in during class-time.

There is a Fruit Basket meeting today at second lunch in room 152. As a reminder, Fruit Basket is a club for 2SLGBTQIA+ students and their allies. New members are always welcome!

Attention all pop choir students there will be a rehearsal today from 3 to 4pm in the music room!

Boys Basketball game today afterschool against Bedford Academy. 3:30pm start.
