We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”.

We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

“In the end we are all separate: our stories, no matter how similar, come to a fork and diverge. We are drawn to each other because of our similarities, but it is our differences we must learn to respect?”

This is WEEK 2
Today is Tuesday , November 22

This week is also Transgender Awareness Week - a time for all humans to listen, learn and love so that we can uplift and support the trans community.

Just a reminder Falcons of our three school rules:
Listen to the adults in the building.
Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself.
Use appropriate language for the school environment.

Anime Club will be Thursday at 2nd Lunch in Mme. Sarty’s room. All are welcome, please bring your lunch.

The list for the Musical trip is in the board next to Ms. Legge’s room
(130). If your name is not on the main list, it means you are not going. Please bring a lunch. You will not be able to buy lunch at the cafeteria. It will be closed when we get back. If you don’t want to go, please let us know ASAP.

Today will be the first meeting of the second lunch art club. Students who signed up and are off during second lunch should go to Mr Hobb’s art room 235 at the beginning of lunch. Please bring a pencil and any supplies like markers or coloured pencils that you like to use. The first lunch group will meet next Tuesday. Stay tuned for more information.

There will be tryouts for the boys basketball team Wednesday and Friday afterschool from 2:45-4:30.
