We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship”.

We also acknowledge that people of African ancestry have been in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

Did you hear? We are doing the musical Aladdin Jr. in April! We are still looking for a few people to play characters. We also need to know who is staying on for our magic carpet ride. We will be having a meeting at 11:20 today. This meeting will take place in room 103 only for those people who were signed up last year. Anyone interested who is new, can check the bulletin board outside 130 for audition and sign up details. If you have any questions, please see Ms Cochane or Ms. Legge.

We are looking for some “Artsy” students who would like to help create a mural on the backside of our building with Mr. Carruthers and Mrs. Bruce-MacTavish with Halifax Regional Arts. Sign up will be in the main office.

The girls second soccer tryout will be today after school from 2:45 to 3:45 on the back field.  Everyone who attended Tuesday’s tryout is invited back.  See Mr. DeMone if you have any questions.

For the boys that made the second round of tryouts there is a tryout today after school at 2:50 until 4pm.  The list can be found outside of the gym posted on the bulletin board. If you have any questions please see Mr. Williams.
