Happy Pink Day everyone ! Thank you to all those who are wearing pink today. Thank you for standing up to end bullying.

If you are a student that has requested to rent an instrument from the school, please come pick up your rental form today at lunch. Please don’t forget, Mrs. Oxford is getting lots of requests for instruments and she needs to make sure that everyone who requested an instrument in the spring still needs their instrument!  Please don’t forget!!

The change bandits will be around today to collect money for Terry Fox.

Tomorrow is Pie in your face Hobbs day.  Postponed from today.Teachers will have ballots and for each $1.00 donated to our Terry Fox campaign you will receive a ballot for your chance to Pie Mr. Hobbs in the Face.  The class with the winner will witness the event. Stay tuned for next Wednesday when it is Pie Blades in the Face day. If there is a class where everyone donates, Mr. Hobbs volunteers to have a second pie…. Or perhaps a third...fourth…. Etc if need be.

Everyone should have received or will be receiving forms for the Terry Fox Run. Ask your mom, dad, grandmother, grandfather, aunts, uncles, your third cousins, everyone you know. The school discourages going door to door. The run will be held on Friday, September 23rd.  Tuesday is toonie Tuesday with the class bringing in the most toonies winning a prize.

The class who brings in the most total donations will have the opportunity to Mustard, Ketchup and Mayo Mrs. McLeod.  ANd don’t forget  for every $5.00 donation, your name goes in for a Terry Fox T-shirt.  Let’s go Heights.
