Girls’ softball tryouts will begin today 3pm to 4:30pm after school.  Make sure you have signed up before the try-out. Please have proper clothing (for example no jeans or flip flops) for a tryout.  You must have your own baseball glove and proper footwear (cleats are preferred).   Make sure to arrange drives for pickup by 4:30pm.

Track and Field practice is cancelled today.  Connor Burns, Adrianna Timmons, Peter Reid and Joey White  please see Mr. Harnish at 1st lunch today with teacher’s permission.

Congratulations Alex Neville 5th place for the girls in the Bluenose marathon youth run as well as Ewan McKinnon and Reece DeFreitas for their top 20 finish out of 4500 runners. All Heights runners placed well. Madame Leger can't wait to have you all running again for the cross country running team in the fall.

Hailey's Comet is going to do a bake sale. They are raising money to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. They will have a table in the lobby with treats during the first and second lunch on Wednesday May 25. If any other treats are left over on Wednesday, they will sell them again on Thursday on both lunches. Hope you can help raise money to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis!

Attention grade 8 students - Are you interested in receiving a one thousand dollar scholarship when you graduate from Grade 12.  If so, you should apply for the Emily McNamara scholarship..  You must write a letter explaining why you should receive this award.  Letters are due back to Mrs Mercer no later than Thursday, May 26 at 2:40.

Our last dance of the year is this Thursday, May 26.  Theme is NEON and there will be a VIP room for grade 8’s.
